The LA FINCA Bio-Ethological Stud Farm is located in an Organic Farm, recognized by BIO-SUISSE, and from here it draws a whole series of advantages!! The horses are fed exclusively with organic fodder produced on the farm and spend every day of the year on large pastures measuring several hectares.

Horseback Riding
At LA FINCA you have the possibility to book rides that always include the preparatory part of the horse and basic instruction for beginners. In principle, the needs of those who feel less confident in the group are followed so that even the most experienced can adapt in a chivalrous way. This activity is carried out daily unless the weather has other ideas. Long trousers and comfortable shoes are recommended. We also remind you that, for obvious reasons, we do not accept customers for horseback rides who weigh more than 90 kg.

The horses are maintained as much as possible according to their natural needs. Huge pastures available allow the horses a natural herd life where each individual can find a healthy balance among their peers. In the case of adverse weather or situations that require it, each horse has its own box at its disposal. The diet is exclusively organic with products from our company. Both the Stable and the Farm have been subject to the Federal Ordinance on Organic Agriculture of Biosuisse for over 20 years and are constantly monitored by Bio-Inspecta (the organization responsible for organic controls).
The geographical situation of the Stable allows long walks away from traffic and immersed in relaxing nature for both man and horse. The Ticino River, which can be forded here, is about 50 meters away and is an excellent refreshment for the horse and not only.
